  Big tarpon are rolling all around the local beaches in the Venice-Englewood-Boca Grande area. They have been very cooperative this season. Boca Grande pass is still loaded with Tarpon but don't forget to try a little bottom grouper fishing in the pass while you're there. My son pulled up a nice Gag Grouper weighing 12 pounds while drifting for Tarpon. Offshore has been incredible. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the oil spill but we ran into several massive schools of Mahi as close

  New Smyrna Beach Fishing Report For June 2010 June 20th, 2010
  
  The past weeks of fishing here in the east central Florida area has been extremely great. On fire to be exact. Earlier sunrises and later sunsets mean more fishing time along with nice weather to deal with - no more cold!   cabbage patch chesapeake bay VG

  Going to Chesapeake Bay VG in a couple of weeks. Looking at going out to the cabbage patch. I have never fished underwater structure before, I normaly plug for trout or strippers bottom fish from surf or pier. What type of rod set up and artificals should I carry. All info would be greatly appreciated.

  Fresh water fishing for Carp

  I'm trying to learn how to catch fresh water fish. I live on a lake that have huge Carp!! I've tried allot of different things and they won't bite. I know they ate the algae from the bottom...any ideas? If you know, please let me know. They are pretty big and I"d love to catch one. Thanks.

  Hawks Cay, Saltwater Experience Sunset Tarpon Shoot

  recently accepted an invite from Tom and Rich of Saltwater Experience to ride out on their camera boat and shoot some still images during the filming of a sunset Tarpon show.
